Back when I was a kid I used to have a plastic yellow skateboard with orange wheels, a Penny skateboard from the 70’s.
They have a plastic deck instead of the usual wooden one in a mini-cruiser shape with a rear kick. In total its only 22.5″ long.
The trucks are miniature as well at 3.125″ wide. [...]

The new, official Clan Hunter website is now live at http://clanhunter.org.uk courtesy of all the hard work Peter from Scotland in Oils has put in to get it done. Also up is http://www.hunterclan.co.uk/ which is currently an information archive and picture storage.
I’ve also got a few more Hunter Clan links, all of which are also [...]

My parents have been having an issue with the internet at their place for a while now. I’ve just had a chance to look at it and it is quite suspicious.
Randomly when a Google search was performed, when you clicked the links you would be redirected to sites that you were not expecting, primarily parked [...]

Check it out, Peter Hunter from Scotland in Oils sent me a link the other day to an article from the Clan Gathering last year, including a video interview with Madame Pauline Hunter of Hunterston, the current chief of Clan Hunter.

I can trace my heritage on Dad’s side back to Clan Hunter of Ayrshire, Scotland, and I always find it quite interesting to see what’s going on over there at the moment, particularly as Hunterston Estate is still owned by Clan Hunter, including Hunterston Castle. Unfortunately part of Hunterston was resumed in order to build [...]

I’ve been to a number of different hairdressers over the past 5 years or so, just prior to and since moving to Brisbane, and there has not been one that has really stood out to me as an outstanding hairdresser.
I only get my hair cut every 4 to 6 months or so, though occasionally it [...]

I noticed an article on IT News Australia this morning about talk of the “Australia Card” identification card/system coming up again.
This got me to thinking a bit today, and also trends I’ve noticed previously and things that people have pointed out to me and that sort of thing. Who really is watching?
Think about it? How [...]

It’s great to see a boss pointing these things out to the employees. Sure, a cash handout is great, but ongoing work is much better.
Have a read of the letter that this employer sent to his employees here.
As a small business owner, I agree with this email entirely, even though I only employ one person [...]
