In January 2010 I was down on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, Victoria. On the 23rd we checked out Flinders Beach, the water down there is amazingly clear and I got some really cool photos, especially in and around rock pools.

I didn’t do much in the way of experimenting with these, just used settings that I knew would work.

The Old Flinders Beach Railway

If I had the opportunity to reshoot this one I would do it a bit differently, probably from closer to the railway line so you can actually make out the tracks and so on. I liked it at the time, but it really is a bit bland and boring.

I am really happy with this one, it could be a bit more to the left perhaps, but that’s about it really.
