		<description>It is all about the parents.  The one factor that influences a child's educational success more than any other (including poverty and race issues) is parental involvement, at least here in the US.  Homeschooling selects for the most involved parents.  There is nothing magical about the success homeschooled kids seem to be enjoying, and this success is not be default a criticism of the public school system.  It has to educate a lot of children whose parents are not particularly invested in education.</description>
