Women’s ordination in the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been in discussions for the last 25 years or so, and with the upcoming vote it has become a very hot topic.
The questions though become, is it Biblical? And what impact will it have if the vote to allow conferences and churches to make their own decision goes ahead? It sounds like a recipe for division, a disaster that will ultimately force the church to compromise on its fundamental beliefs.
This is Pr Doug Batchelor’s (of Amazing Facts) take on it. He covers some very similar points to some other sermon’s I’ve heard on the topic, but he goes into a great deal of detail on all perspectives of the argument.
