Eyes for India is a humanitarian project run by It Is Written Oceania that provides sight to the blind India. Over the last 6 months I have been working with the project and it has been so moving to see the outcomes. There are 15 million blind people in India, and many of them can have their sight restored through cataract surgery. Check out the video below to see how the project works and the impact it is having on the blind in India.
This program is entirely donation funded, and for just $75 you can provide the surgery needed to restore sight, along with medical follow up, medication, transport, food and accommodation. To support the program, you can donate here. Otherwise go here to find out more.
